All Sorted
Make the hardest days of your family's life easier.
You know your life. Getting it into a book is the hard part.
Your life makes sense because you are standing in the middle of it. You know which account pays the power bill, where the insurance papers live, who to call first, and what you would want done. The people who love you do not know any of that. Not because they do not care, but because they have never had to run your life before.
If something happened tonight, would the right person know where to begin?
What if something happened tonight, and no one in your family knew where anything was? Not the accounts. Not the passwords. Not the paperwork. Not the wishes you have never written down. That is the question this book answers, while you are here to answer it.
All Sorted is an interview that builds your finished instruction book. You answer the questions, one at a time, in plain language. The book is built for you: the calls to make first, the accounts and bills, the people and places, the wishes that matter, and the cash flow your family will live on. When you are done, you print it, and the people who need it can find it.
They do not have to remember everything. They only have to open the book.
Your book opens with the first things, in order. Who to call. What to do about the house, the car, the accounts. Where the important papers are. What you want for your funeral, your pets, your digital life, and the people who depend on you. It is written in the order a grieving person actually needs it, not the order a filing cabinet would.
Two questions matter first.
Who do I call? The book's opening pages list the first calls, with names and numbers, so your family is not searching for a phone number at midnight.
Can I survive on the cash flow? The book's ledger lays out the money coming in and the bills that must be kept paid, in plain language, so the person left behind can see whether the household covers its must-keep bills or faces a shortfall. It is a diagnostic, not a promise, and it says so plainly.
Built for Australia.
This is not a generic book with an Australian cover. It is built around how things actually work here:
- Death certificates come from the Births, Deaths and Marriages registry in the state or territory where the person died, and the book records which registry that is.
- The Australian Death Notification Service lets the person administering your estate notify participating organisations in one place, once the death is registered. The book points them to it, and lists the organisations that still need a direct call.
- Tax: the final return for a deceased person is a date-of-death return, covering the income year up to the date of death. The book records what the person managing your tax affairs will need.
- Superannuation is not in your will. Super is held on trust, and the fund trustee pays it under the fund's deed. The book records every fund, every nomination, and every renewal date, so a lapsed nomination is not discovered after you are gone.
- Probate goes through the Supreme Court of the state or territory, and the book records the grant, the executor, and where the original will is kept.
- Lifetime documents differ by state and territory: advance care directives, powers of attorney, and guardianship appointments are not the same document everywhere. The book records what exists, where the originals are, and who is appointed.
Nothing in the book is invented, and no fee, deadline, or form number is printed unless it traces to an official source. When a detail differs by state, the book says so, instead of pretending one rule covers the country.
Only you know what your family needs.
No one else can write this book for you. A lawyer can write your will. An accountant can do your tax. A funeral director can arrange a funeral. None of them knows where you keep the spare key, which friend holds the dog's medication, or what you want said at your service. Only you know that, and only you can write it down while you are here.
Your book lives in your account, ready to print.
Your book is built and kept in your account, and you can update it for life. Print it when you are done, keep the printed copy where your family can find it, and update the account whenever life changes. A printed copy in a drawer nobody opens is no help; the book tells you to put it where the right person will look.
Passwords and PINs belong in the book, but not in our system.
The book records where your passwords and important codes are kept, so your family can find them. It never asks you to type a bank password, an account number, or a government ID number into the system, and you should not enter them. What your family needs is to know where the keys are, not to have the keys themselves sitting in an account.
"You have all my information."
That is what families say when they are handed a box of papers and no map. Having the information is not the same as being able to use it. A drawer full of statements, a filing cabinet, a folder of policies: none of that tells a grieving person what to do first, or what can wait, or what happens if a bill is missed. The book is the map. It turns "all my information" into "here is what to do, in order."
"I am healthy. My family knows. I already have a will."
A will says who gets what. It almost never says where any of it is. It does not list the accounts, the passwords, the bills, the people to call, or the wishes that were never written down. Being healthy is exactly when this is easiest to do, because you are here to answer the questions. And family knowing you is not the same as family knowing how your household runs. The book is for the gap between "they know me" and "they can run my life for a month."
What you are really leaving is relief, delivered in advance.
When someone you love dies, the grief is hard enough without the administration. Every unanswered question becomes another phone call, another form, another day of not knowing. The book you write now is the relief you deliver then: fewer questions, fewer guesses, fewer days spent solving a life you already lived. That calm is the product.
Without it / With it
Without it: your family searches drawers, guesses passwords, misses bills, calls the wrong office twice, and wonders what you would have wanted.
With it: your family opens the book, makes the first calls, follows the ledger, and knows what you wanted, in the order it needs doing.
Questions
Is this a will? No. The book is not a will, and it does not replace one. If you do not have a will, get one from a lawyer. The book covers everything a will does not say.
Is this legal, tax, or financial advice? No. The book organises your information and points to the official steps. It does not give legal, tax, or financial advice, and it does not replace a lawyer, accountant, or licensed adviser.
Do you sell my information? No. Your book answers are yours. They are not sold, and they are not shared with your family, a creator, or anyone else unless you choose to share the finished book yourself. Card details go to our payment provider, never to us. See the privacy policy linked below.
What if I move states? Update the book. Lifetime updates are included, and the state-specific sections follow the rules of the state or territory you live in.
What if my family cannot find the book? The book is built to be found: printed, kept where the right person will look, and pointed to by the wallet card logic of the finished book. A book nobody can find helps nobody, so finding it is part of the design.
The guarantee, plainly
If you buy the book and it is not what you needed, tell us within 15 days and we will refund you. No forms, no interrogation. After 15 days, the book is yours for life, with lifetime updates included.
A short note on why this was built. The founder built the first version of this book after watching a widowed client struggle through the months after her husband's death, searching for accounts, papers, and answers nobody had written down. He does not know how she ended up, and this book does not claim to. It was built so the next family would not have to search.
This book may not be for you.
If you want someone else to do this for you, start to finish, this book is not that. You answer the questions; nobody can answer them in your place. If you need legal advice about your will or your estate, see a lawyer; this book organises information, it does not advise you. If you are buying for someone else and they will not sit down and answer honestly, the book will only be as good as the answers in it. If none of that puts you off, and you are the person who takes care of everything for your family, this book was built for you.
